Information – opinions exchange meeting at Arkalohori

On Friday, August 7, 2020, the fourth information-exchange meeting was held in the Hall of the Municipal Council of the Municipality of Minoa Pediada, which is located in the Exhibition Center of Arkalochori.

Invitations for the meeting were sent to all the Municipalities of the Regional Unit of Heraklion. Present at the meeting were the general secretary of the Municipality of Heraklion Mrs. Eugenia Stylianou, the general secretary of the Municipality of Hersonissos Mr. Michael Karakatsanis and from the Municipality of Phaistos the special advisor to the Mayor, Mr. Giannis Zorakis.

Mr. Haris Roditakis presented the action that the RCO intends to develop and more specifically the research study which has been undertaken by the scientific director of the Observatory, Mr. Nikos Skoutelis . Mr. Skoutelis analyzed the feasibility and directions of the study, while the attendees showed particular interest, presenting the views and visionary forecasts for the municipalities they represent.

The first meetings to the Regional Units of Crete was completed with the present, while meetings to each Municipality are already planned separately.
